Need More
It has been a rough week. The cortisone shot and unexpected reaction with my blood sugar, has left me wiped out this week. Like totally wiped out. They doctor said it can take 1-2 weeks for me my blood sugar to level back out again. I am trying to be kind with myself but I just feel so gross.
Anyway, I have been thinking about was to make myself be healthier in small ways and feel better. Winter sucks, it always has for me, this year feels even worse.
- Check out Infrared Sauna, if nothing else it will give me a little reprieve from the awful cod that I feel into my bones.
- Move more - somehow even in the cold weather I have to find a way. Walking is my go to but with the ice and cold but I have to find an alternative
- Find a way to incorporate some weight training into a new routine.
I have to set up PT for my shoulder and I am going to ask them about good ways to get started overall. I need to find something that I will stick with. I wish I was a gym go-er.
All of this is so routine, every single winter I feel this way. It seems to get a little harder each year, but I have to keep pushing.
