Need More


It has been a rough week. The cortisone shot and unexpected reaction with my blood sugar, has left me wiped out this week. Like totally wiped out. They doctor said it can take 1-2 weeks for me my blood sugar to level back out again. I am trying to be kind with myself but I just feel so gross.

Anyway, I have been thinking about was to make myself be healthier in small ways and feel better. Winter sucks, it always has for me, this year feels even worse.

  1. Check out Infrared Sauna, if nothing else it will give me a little reprieve from the awful cod that I feel into my bones.
  2. Move more - somehow even in the cold weather I have to find a way. Walking is my go to but with the ice and cold but I have to find an alternative
  3. Find a way to incorporate some weight training into a new routine.
I have to set up PT for my shoulder and I am going to ask them about good ways to get started overall. I need to find something that I will stick with. I wish I was a gym go-er.

All of this is so routine, every single winter I feel this way. It seems to get a little harder each year, but I have to keep pushing.
